Alum is commonly used to purify water. But this little thing has many other uses. Alum is very useful in preventing bacterial infection in the body from skin problems. Alum can be used for several other purposes.

Let’s know some uses of alum which you may not have known till now-

To eliminate bad breath: Bad breath is a cause of discomfort for many people. Bad breath is mainly caused by bacteria accumulated between the teeth. Alum is able to eliminate these bacteria. Mix a pinch of salt and alum powder in a glass of warm water. When the mixture cools down, strain it. If you regularly gargle like this after waking up and before going to sleep, you will get rid of bad breath bacteria quickly.

To cure mouth sores: If there is a sore inside the mouth, apply alum. May irritate and dry mouth sores quickly. However, this time, do not swallow the saliva and throw it out.

Prevents Acne: Alum seeds work to prevent acne on the face. Make a pack with one spoon of Multani Mati, two spoons of egg white and one spoon of alum powder. Apply the pack on your face and leave it for 15 minutes and wash it off. Apply this mixture on your face at least 3 days a week. You will benefit quickly.

Eliminates odor: When you run out of deodorant or deodorant spray, you can use alum that is close at hand. Mix myrrh with alum powder. Myrrh or Mastaki is a special type of gum. Make your own deodorant by mixing these two.

As a lice killer: Head lice can occur due to various reasons. In this case, add a little tea tree oil to the water mixed with alum powder. Now massage the scalp for 10 minutes. Then shampoo. Get rid of the problem of lice quickly.

To eliminate facial aging: Many times, the impression of aging on the face becomes obvious due to fatigue or overwork. Soak a piece of alum in water and rub it well on the face to restore the freshness of the face. Then wash your face with cold water and apply moisturizer cream or lotion.
