Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), formerly known as Ryerson University, was suspended by the male governing body after learning of the disturbing behaviour.
When asked why the team canceled several matches, the university said that a report of serious and alarming behavior had been received by the university authorities. University authorities are fully investigating the incident and the men’s soccer team will remain suspended until further notice.
A report by The Eyeopener, one of the student newspapers, highlights these behavioral concerns. However, a spokesperson of the university said that the university is not sure about these allegations.
The university authorities said that the university is not sure about any other details in this regard. Such as the type of complaint. The complaint is under investigation.
