Is it just routine work?

Army Chief Waqar-uz-Zaman meets President Sahabuddin Chuppur at least every few days. Is it just routine work, or something else? Do they only have formal conversations, or other types of conversations?

Army Chief Walker is accountable to the Chief Counsel as the Chief Executive, not to the President. Because, the Department of Defense and the Armed Forces are vested in the Chief Adviser. The Chief Advisor is the Chief of Staff’s firing authority. So the question is, why does Chief of Staff Walker meet the President? The army chief is not accountable to the president, so is it necessary to meet the president? Even if you don’t see it, it’s okay.

Recently, two chief coordinators, Sergis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah, have sought the resignation of the president. They think that it is not right to keep the president appointed by the fascist Sheikh Hasina in his position. There will be no speed in the administration until the removal of the President. Also, Sheikh Hasina’s appointed presidency could be a risk factor. However, it is not difficult to understand that the wishes of these two coordinators echo the wishes of the government.

They were earlier seen as the coordinators besieged the Chief Justice’s residence and forced him to resign, calling for a judicial cure.

But the besieging of the Banga Bhavan to force the President to resign did not last long. The President is the ceremonial head. His abode cannot be surrounded like this. The President has a separate security system. And it does not seem feasible that the students from all over the country will rush to force the president to resign on the call of the coordinators.

So what other approach can be taken to remove the president?

In this case, there is no other way but to put pressure on the President. But it may not be by besieging Bangabhavan but by some other means.

The problem is, it’s hard to remove the president if he doesn’t move on his own. The President can be impeached through the Supreme Judicial Council. But it is a long process. Moreover, there should be solid allegations against the President. Earlier, some Malaysia-based corruption allegations against the President were released in the market. The aim was to demoralize the President by spreading all this so that he would voluntarily resign. But it didn’t work. He was not mentally debilitated. Rather, he is still quite healthy. Pictures of the President smiling through his mustache during the Army Chief’s meeting with the President were also seen in the print media.

So, what other ways to remove the president? It seems to me that the other way is Army Chief Waqar-uz-Zaman. The President may be asked to step down by Mr. Walker. But what will he say?
Does the Chief of Army Staff ever meet the President and ask or pressure the President to resign?

If so, then the President should not have been in his position for so long. He would have resigned long ago.

If Army Chief Walker didn’t want it, he wouldn’t have held the presidency.

So how and why has he retained his position even after two months of the fall of the Awami League government?

However, the army chief repeatedly assured the president that you will not resign under any pressure? I’m by your side? What can happen?

Why do the army chief?
It is known from unconfirmed sources, Dr. Mr. Yunus declared emergency and wanted to become president himself. Which he reported to Army Chief Walker. Chief Walker did not agree. Why did he not agree? Because, if Dr. Yunus gets absolute power, then he can dismiss the army chief and appoint someone under his command as army chief. That fear is normal for Mr. Walker.

It can be assumed in different ways, there is conflict between Dr. Yunus and the army chief in some cases. In most cases, Mr. Walker may be helping Dr. Yunus but not in some cases. The army chief wants to hold elections within 18 months and transition the country to democracy. He has already given that impression but it is Dr. Yunus did not like it. Dr. Yunus didn’t like giving such a speech bypassing the government. This is why Dr. Yunus later said that this is the personal opinion of the army chief. Not like the government. The date of election announced by the government is the final date. Dr. Yunus does not want to give any specific roadmap. It seems that he will understand the situation and take action, that is, if the country’s economy, law and order etc. are under control, he may want to stay a little longer and if it is not under control, he will leave early with elections. Or for any other purpose can stay more than the specified time. So it is not possible for him to give the election roadmap now.

So it appears that there is a subtle conflict between Dr. Yunus and the army chief.

Anyway, back to the President. How is he in his position for so long? Where all the Awami League appointees have left one by one, is it normal for the president to hold office for so long? What power is he in?
Someone is giving him strength!

Or did he want to leave but was kept begging? Maybe those who requested it no longer want him.

In that case the President would have resigned but he is not resigning yet. What is the reason?

Could it be that the president has decided that no matter what he says, I will not resign? Will I hold this position until I am killed?

This is unlikely, but not impossible.

However, if the President does not resign in a short time, it must be understood that he is with someone’s help. Then, as I mentioned, he decided he would not move voluntarily. A man of law, he understands everything. So there is no other option but to wait and see.
