3 Canadian cities in the top ten cities

Toronto is currently ranked among the top ten cities in the world

Canada’s Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto are among the top ten cities in the world today. This information is known from the annual report of the Economist Intelligence Unit last Thursday.

The top liveable cities in the world are Vienna, Copenhagen, Zurich, Calgary, Vancouver, Geneva, Frankfurt, Toronto, Amsterdam, Osaka and Melbourne respectively.

The EIU Index considers five main factors. They are – stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education and infrastructure. It ranked Calgary fourth, Vancouver fifth and Toronto eighth. This year’s survey is dominated only by the largest cities in Canada.
Dhaka scored 39.2 out of 100 and ranked 166 out of 172 cities in the Global Liveability Index 2022 released on Thursday. The city had a score of 33.5 in last year’s ranking.

And the ten least liveable cities are – Damascus (172nd), Lagos (171st), Tripoli (170th), Algiers (169th), Karachi (168th), Port Moresby (167th), Dhaka (166th), Harare (165th), Douala (164th) and Tehran (163rd).
