An Ontario alcohol retailer is recalling free tumblers (handleless glasses) with neutral beverages as part of a promotion. The product is being recalled due to safety concerns.
Nütrl Canada said the manufacturer notified them of the voluntary recall. These were given away as free gifts in April and May at LCBO stores. Tumblers can emit toxic substances when filled with liquid due to manufacturing errors.
The tumbler was given as a gift with the purchase of Nütrl Vodka Soda products. A Nütrl representative said they are working with Health Canada to bring the matter to the attention of consumers.
People who have taken Tumbaler are advised to stop using it immediately and call 1-866-846-1778 for more information.
