To that end, the Canadian Express Entry system has been modified to more efficiently welcome French-speaking immigrants. This move aims to help facilitate economic growth in Francophone communities outside Quebec while celebrating how it adds to their vibrancy.

Minister Fraser recently announced changes to Express Entry which accommodate categories such as specific work experience or proficiency in French. On May 31, Minister Petitpas Taylor announced the first Francophone round for this selection type.

Further details will be revealed in the near future. Canada’s promotion of bilingualism and support of its Francophone citizens speaks volumes about its commitment to creating a viable environment for all languages and cultures in Canada.
