Spanish movie The Body (El cuerpo), released in 2012 and directed by Oriol Paulo. This mystery thriller is filled with incredible tension, where some strange truth in each character’s life is revealed in turn. The story centers on the sudden disappearance of a woman’s body from a morgue and the efforts of police inspector Jaime Pena to investigate the incident. The secrets of her relationship with the missing woman’s husband, Alex, are revealed one by one and new twists are added at every moment, making the movie more mysterious.

Paolo keeps the audience on a psychological swing in this movie, where the plot twists act like a psychological trap. The movie’s cinematography, tense thriller music and color tones make every scene more thrilling. Holding the climax until the very end, this movie keeps the audience full of unpredictable twists throughout.

For those who love mystery thrillers, The Body is a great movie. This movie will hold your attention till the end and give some twists that are beyond your imagination.

The Body has also influenced the remake of the Tamil-Kannada film Game (2016), the Korean film The Vanished (2018) and the Hindi film The Body (2019), which is a testament to the strong production style of the story.
