God playfully created creatures other,
But with special care, He created MOTHER.
In Sanskrit language, mother is called “MATRI”,
She is our all-caring nurse, ETERNAL DHATRI.
In Hindi language, mother is known as “MATA”,
She is our real benevolent savior -” PARITRATA”.
Many children fondly call her “MUMMY”,
Our friend, philosopher and guide, CHUMMY.
Love of mother for her daughter and son,
Is unique and can be compared with none.
For the well-being of her beloved child,
She is lion-like brave, and flower-like mild.
By grooming a father, we groom one single man,
By grooming a mother, we groom one generation.
On this day, from our inner hearts we say,
We will never forget you, come what may.
Oh Mother! we bow at the feet of thine,
You are His noblest gift – LOVE DIVINE.
