Leaders of the anti-discrimination movement have expressed their displeasure over the appointment of newly appointed advisers Mustafa Sarayar Faruqi and businessman Bashiruddin. Especially, it can be understood from the Facebook post of one of the coordinators, Sergis Alam.
Another thing that can be inferred from this is that no advice was taken from the coordinators of the anti-discrimination movement in the appointment of these advisers. Inside the cabinet are advisors Nahid, Asif Mamud, mastermind Mafuz Alam. But they are in the government as coordinators.
The question is, have they not been consulted in the appointment of advisers?
Other coordinators should not be dissatisfied if they are appointed on their advice.
So the advisor is being appointed on whose advice? Or is the appointment left up to the Chief Advisor? He will hire whoever he thinks!
If this is the case, why are the coordinators showing dissatisfaction? It is settled!!
Could it be that the government is slowly trying to corner the coordinators?
The government may be thinking that the various activities of these coordinators are causing the government to become controversial, the image of the government is being damaged, and public support is decreasing.
The government is unable to say anything against their activities. Again, if their activities continue for a long time, the government will not have any acceptance.
So the government has taken a strategic position to come out of it. Even the snake will die, and the stick will not break.
The government also found that the power of the coordinators is not what it used to be.
No one comes to call them separately. It comes from different groups. There is BNP in the field, there is Jamaat, there is Noor Party, there are many other retail parties. They are in the field to suppress Awami League.
So why would the government need separate anti-discrimination coordinators who are causing trouble? So it is better for the government to set them aside now.
When a race horse gets old, and is no longer useful, the owners of the range shoot the horse. It sounds cruel. But who will sit and feed the useless horse?
Coordinators are now more unemployed than employed.
From such a thought perhaps ignoring the coordinators, they have been bypassed and appointed the above two advisors.
Ignoring them will eventually disable them.
Who knows, I could be wrong.
