It is important to maintain a proper diet during Roza. But the sad thing is that most of the people in our country do not know about this proper diet. Eating a lot of oily and spicy food at Iftar harms the health of the stomach. Due to which the necessary nutrients and energy do not reach the body even after eating. Many do not eat Sehri food properly. This results in feeling very tired throughout the day. So know well about what your diet will be like during Roza and try to follow it-

1. Eat a balanced diet
Eat a balanced diet that includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and protein sources. They work to maintain energy levels and improve overall well-being. Staying healthy during Ramadan will be easier with careful meal planning and adding a variety of ingredients. Prioritizing nutritious food will not only help you stay physically fit, but also boost mental stability during this holy month. Such food will keep your stomach full for a long time.

2. Stay hydrated
Hydration is the most important thing. Because dehydration can cause various health problems. Eat very little or if possible avoid salty, spicy and fried foods to avoid thirst during fasting. Choose liquids that don’t contain a lot of caffeine, as this can cause dehydration. Break the fast with water and dates at Iftar. Take heavy food only after namaz. This will give your stomach enough time to prepare for digestion.

3. Calorie control
Deep fried foods and sugary foods are high in calories. Eating such foods can prevent fluctuations in blood sugar levels. Instead of such foods, try to add healthy fats. Practice steaming, stir-frying and baking foods in small amounts of oil instead of deep-frying.

4. moderate eating
Avoid eating too many high-calorie foods and sugary drinks at Iftar. One should not eat too much during Sehri or Iftar. In moderation it will keep you healthy. Usually we get full after playing for 20 minutes. So it is very important to eat mindfully and realize when your hunger is satisfied. This practice of mindful eating reduces overall stress on the body.

5. Eating Sehri
Start the day with nutritious Sehri. complex carbohydrates such as whole grains, oatmeal; Proteins such as pulses, beans, low-fat dairy products, lentils, chicken, eggs etc. can be eaten. You can eat a handful of unsalted almonds. Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated throughout the day. Eat liquid-rich foods like soups and juices.
