33-year-old man sentenced in connection with drug trafficking investigation

A 33 year old man from Moncton NB has been sentenced to three years in prison following a drug trafficking investigation in the community

A 33-year-elderly person from Moncton, N.B., has been condemned to three years in jail following a medication dealing with examination the local area.

In September 2020, individuals from the Codiac Wrongdoing Decrease Unit (CRU) started an examination concerning the dealing of unlawful medications in Moncton.

On September 17, 2020, individuals from the Codiac CRU executed a court order at a home on Oakland Road in Moncton. More than $300,000, a handgun, crack cocaine, and drug trafficking equipment were among the items seized by police during the search. A 28-year-elderly person, a 33-year-elderly person and a 28-year-elderly person were captured at the scene. Four others were likewise captured at the scene and were subsequently delivered.

A sum of seven charges connected with the ownership of a controlled substance to traffic, as well as gun and weapons related charges, were mutually rested against Nathaniel Bourque, Scott Clavette and a 28-year-elderly person in Moncton Commonplace Court.

On September 26, 2022, Nathaniel Bourque confess to ownership to traffic cocaine and was condemned to 3 years in jail. Upon his delivery, he will be denied from possessing guns forever.

Around the same time, Scott Clavette concede to connivance to perpetrate an indictable offense and ownership of property got by wrongdoing. He was condemned on June 26, 2023 to 3 years in jail. He will be barred from owning firearms for ten years following his release.

The 28-year-old woman’s charges were dropped on January 12, 2023.
