Ms. Bill, the former chief of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation, was born in Whitehorse and comes from a family that has been around the territory for many generations. She has advocated for numerous social issues, including housing and community safety. She will be a leader the current YHC Board of Directors can rely on and look up to thanks to her diverse experience and unique perspectives on housing issues in the community.

As the Yukon Housing Corporation works to provide innovative housing solutions throughout the territory, the YHC Board plays a crucial role in setting and monitoring the corporation’s strategic direction as well as its financial stewardship. The advancement of a brand-new five-year strategic plan, capital projects, and the presentation of the Corporation’s annual report to the Yukon Legislative Assembly are among the Board’s top priorities.
