Shiuli has forgotten her dark past

All the dark colors of Shiuli’s life are erased and light is shining there. Shiuli has forgotten her dark past. This has been possible because of Zakir Saheb and Sahida Begum. Now they both love Shiuli like their own daughter. Shiuli has spent two years laughing and playing with Zakir Saheb and Sahida Begum.

Shiuli turned fourteen. On one such birthday night, Shiuli had to lose her family, her chastity. Shiuli had forgotten all of these things thinking they were bad memories, but today she remembered them all when she went somewhere. The clock struck twelve at that time. Shiuli was thinking about her dark times. She didn’t want to remember, but she remembered them. At that time, Zakir Saheb and Sahida Begum entered Shiuli’s room with a cake. The clock struck exactly twelve. Then the two entered the room and said, “Happy birthday Shiuli, mother.”

Shiuli looked at them in surprise. They both came and stood beside her with smiles. Shiuli hugged Sahida Begum close and made her cry. Sahida Begum understood Shiuli’s state of mind and said, “There is no place for the past in life, mother. You have to forget the past and be happy with the present.”

“Don’t think about what you have lost in life, think about what you have gained. Then you will see that life is beautiful. Very beautiful.”

Hearing Zakir Sahib’s voice, Shiuli left Sahida Begum and hugged her. Then she said, “I am happy with the present. Because you are with me. My parents.”

Zakir Sahib and Sahida Begum were happy. They had a lack of a child in their lives, which was removed by Shiuli’s touch. Then everyone controlled themselves and started cutting the cake. After cutting the cake, Zakir Sahib and Sahida Begum took it in their hands and said, “First I will feed my daughter.”

A small, sweet and naughty argument broke out between the two of them about this. Shiuli was surprised to see their act. This happened every day. After Sahida Begum accepted Shiuli as her daughter, they always did this when feeding each other. Finally, after arguing, the two decided to feed Shiuli together. That is, Sahida Begum would have the cake in her hand, and Zakir Sahib would hold that hand. Then they would put the cake in Shiuli’s mouth together. Shiuli was quite amused to see their act. She said to herself, “Did someone like me have so much happiness written on her forehead? Sometimes it feels like it’s a dream. If I open my eyes and look at her, the dream will break.”

The three of them spent that night happily. After cutting the cake in the house, everyone went to a restaurant to have food. There was also a lot of fun. Shiuli enjoyed these beautiful moments in her life.

A few more days passed, and one afternoon Zakir Sahib returned home feeling bored. Shiuli felt very bad seeing his bored face. This man has taken the place of his father in Shiuli’s life. It is natural that Shiuli will feel bad for that man’s boring face.

Zakir Sahib has been locking himself up in his house the whole time since he returned home that day. Shiuli and Shahida Begum find the whole thing unusual. They both knock on the door of the house several times. But Zakir Sahib does not open the door. Finally, after ten at night, Zakir Sahib opens the door. He opens the door and says, “Shiuli, mother. Come to my house for a while.”

Shiuli immediately entered the house. Shahida Begum looked at Zakir Sahib with surprised eyes. Before she could say anything, Zakir Sahib closed the door. Shahida Begum said vaguely, “What happened?”

Chayan investigated Shiuli’s case and found out. Shiuli was brutally murdered by Palash in 2010. At that time, Police Officer Rafiq’s investigation identified Palash as the culprit. However, he committed suicide before being taken to court. Palash was an orphaned boy. He has no one in this world. On the other hand, Shiuli’s family, namely his father Zakir Khan and mother Shahida Begum, went missing in 2012. They have not been seen since two years after Shiuli’s murder. Since their relatives did not have a good relationship with them, no one ever looked for them. That is why no one knew that they were missing. No diary was filed with the police station regarding their disappearance. Chayan learned about these things while investigating Shiuli today.

Chayan revealed the entire investigation to everyone. Chayan said, “I think Shiuli’s murder was not solved. She was framed. Shiuli’s parents somehow found out about this. After knowing this, either something very bad happened to them or they themselves are committing these murders under the cover of a psycho killer.”

“I understand everything, sir. But what does Shwetnasha mean? What does the murderer mean by this?”

Hearing Sajal’s words, Chayan became a little thoughtful. Then, controlling himself, he said in a calm voice, “Shwet means white and Nasha means destruction. Again, after every murder, a piece of white cloth is kept with the body, turning it black. This means the destruction of white. It is possible that the murderer gave his name Shwetnasha to mean that his beautiful heart was destroyed.”

Chayan’s words were quite reasonable. That is why everyone accepted it. Chayan repeated, “Everything is fine. We know the reason for the murder. But I don’t know who the murderer is? I have no clue about him. We are failing here.”

Everyone is really worried about the matter. Everything is clear to them. Why is the murderer killing? The meaning of the note, the mystery of the black cloth is all clear. Except for the murderer. They have so many arrangements to catch him. Chayan’s team has investigated and found that the meaning they have found out according to the note is true. All the murdered men were characterless. They all had a womanizing habit. Not only that, Dr. Kamal raped a young girl. The girl was his patient. In the name of treatment, Dr. Kamal committed a dirty act. The girl’s family has hidden this fact for fear of losing respect. Several other such incidents have been found against Kamal. After knowing this, Chayan’s mind went somewhere and said, “What happened to the sister-in-law is right. She is a young girl.”

Chayan’s entire team is keeping an eye on Dr. Shafayet Hossain. Shafayet Hossain is now the first on Chayan’s list of suspects. Of course, there is a reason for this. Because Shafayet was the only person who had seen Dr. Kamal when he raped the little girl that day.
Chayan and Sajal are sitting in a restaurant. They are waiting for Diya. Opening the door of the restaurant and seeing Diya coming, Sajal says, “Isn’t the girl very beautiful, sir?”

Chayan looks ahead at Sajal’s gaze. Sajal is looking at Diya’s face with unblinking eyes. Chayan is a little annoyed by her gaze. He says in a annoyed voice, “What’s the point of looking at her like this?”

Chayan then looks at Diya very carefully. A small round face in the middle of a white body. The most attractive part of that face is the lips. Chayan’s gaze first falls on Diya’s pink lips. Then on Diya’s kajal-black eyes. Diya has a black spot on her forehead amidst her green churidar. In a word, she looks beautiful. In the middle of Chayan’s thoughts, Diya comes and sits in front of them. Then he says, “Is something wrong?”

“Eh?”

When Chayan’s meditation was broken, he quickly controlled himself and then said, “No. Nothing happened.”

“Why did you call me here?”

In response to Dia’s question, Sajal said, “To find out about Dr. Shafayet.”

“What do you know about him? I told you, he is a very good person. I like him very much as a teacher.”

“How long have you known him?”

In response to Chayan’s question, Dia took a moment and said, “Five years. Shafayet sir was an acquaintance of my father. After my father’s death, he got me admitted to the medical college. When I was a student, I used to go to the hospital with him, see his medical procedures. Especially, he was a heart surgeon. I used to watch him perform heart operations. In between, I studied. Finally, now I am an intern doctor under him.”

“Have you noticed anything unusual about him in the last five years?”

Chayan asked the question in a quite normal voice. Dia immediately said, “No….”

Dia stopped before finishing her sentence. She remembered that one day Shafayet had behaved somewhat abnormally after his hand was cut off. However, since it was not a very important matter, Dia did not tell Chayan about it. Chayan asked about Shafayet’s activities at the hospital. Dia said in a normal voice, “He comes to the hospital on time. He enters the operating room. He gets ready, takes medicine and starts doing OT. After the OT, he leaves. That’s it.”

“Medicine?”

Chayan asked curiously. Dia shook her head and said, “Yes. She has a slight allergy problem. That’s why she always takes medicine before doing OT.”

“Always. You mean before every OT?”

Dia nodded in agreement with Chayan’s words. A slight look of worry could be seen in Chayan’s eyes. Dia saw Chayan’s worried face and asked, “What problem?”
