Chitra’s mother-in-law separated her with five sers of rice. Chitra is sitting in the middle of the yard, standing still. A sudden separation is like a minor accident for a new wife. It takes time for the girl who has become a new wife in her in-laws to manage herself. Where it takes years for adolescent girls to understand the world, it is unfair to put the responsibility of the world on their shoulders in just a few days. This sudden incident stunned him completely. Waking up in the morning, seeing this conflict between mother and wife, Rupaka’s eyes rose to his forehead. He called Chitra and asked what happened?

Chitra’s eyes and face are swollen due to crying. She somehow managed himself and said, Ma amare kaise aiz thaika cook and eat separately.

Rupak furrowed his brow.

Wanted to know why mother did this? Did you say anything to Mummy?

Chitra replied, no I didn’t say anything. I was cooking rice. Mother is taking the pot off the stove. He told me that she would never eat food from my hands again. Hari-Patil divided me. What should I do now?

Rupak stared at Chitra for a while. His bride looks very innocent now. Chitra wet her eyes from crying. Rupak wants to hug Chitra tightly in his chest. He took a deep breath and said wait I see.

Josna Begum is burning rice sitting on the bank of her hair. Rupak came and asked, Amma what are you doing. Why are you starting to go crazy in the morning?

Josna Begum kept her face serious for a while. Then he replied, you will not have to see these things, Bapu. You are gone without getting married. No one will have to worry about the mother.

what happened to you

What will happen to me? I have a burnt forehead. I give marry of my son and now son will have a happy and peaceful family. I have nothing to say here.

I am happy and at peace. Why did you separate us? Did my wife say anything to you?

What will your wife say to me? When the son is gone, is there time to suffer from people’s words?

“When did I grow up, Mom? Don’t contradict yourself. Now you’ll say, ‘Mom says contradictory things.'”

Josna Begum buried her face in her sari and sobbed loudly. Since she wasn’t blaming Chitra, she was pinning all the blame on Rupok. Rupok was certain that Josna Begum was upset about him buying a bicycle. Rupok sat beside his mother and said softly, “Mom, are you upset because I bought a bicycle? You told me to buy one. I wouldn’t have bought it if you hadn’t told me.”

Josna Begum’s crying intensified.

Rupuk said, “Mom, please stop. What will the neighbors think? People will think I’ve said something to upset you. But you told me to buy the bicycle. If you do this to me now, where will I go?”

Josna Begum, still burying her face in her sari, said, “Yes, I’m making a mistake by marrying off my son. Once a son gets married, he’s no longer a son. Whatever has happened has happened. You and your wife will eat separately from today onwards. Since you’ve all learned to look out for yourselves, you won’t need your mother anymore. You’ve all grown up. Understand your own household.”

“Mom, please don’t do that. I’ve just gotten married. My wife doesn’t understand anything about household chores yet. I don’t understand either. You have to teach us. If you do this to me now, how will it be?”

Who said you do not understand anything? You understand more than parents. We don’t understand. We are people of yesteryear. There is no intelligence in the head.

Rupak did not dare to say anything more. He said leaving the kitchen, my wife will be with you. The rice will be cooked in one pot. If you separate us too, I will never eat rice again. I will die without eating.

Saying this, Rupak left the house with an angry face. Josna Begum’s tears fell in the house. He feels lost. He did not understand what to do. The stove fire went out. He sat down in the kitchen with his eyes closed and his cheeks swollen. Meanwhile, his daughter-in-law is leaning on the door of the house and looking at the road with disoriented eyes. Where did her husband go?

No more cooking at home today. Daughter-in-law and mother-in-law are both extremely upset and depressed like themselves. Neither of them understand what to do now. Meanwhile there is no trace of Rupak. No one knows where he went? Afternoon passed.

Rupak’s father called and said that Rupak did not go to the shop today. Josna Begum’s head was struck by lightning. He sat in the courtyard and began to say in a loud voice, Ore amer sona babare. No, where did you go? come back home I won’t do this to you again.

Chitra is crying in her room after hearing Jyotsna Begum’s lamentation. Today he feels very helpless. All his own fault. Due to a single bicycle, his family is in turmoil. May Rupak never forget to love her. To whom will this sad girl go?

When Rupak returned home, it was nearly evening. Just after noon Josna Begum cooked with her own hands. As soon as the boy stepped into the yard, he ran out. He said in a soft voice, where were you? Wash your hands quickly. I am giving food. Eat two rice.

Josna Begum ran into the kitchen without waiting for any answer from Rupak. He hastily spread the mat and prepared the food.

As soon as Rupak entered the room, Chitra stood at the door, where was he all day?

Rupak did not answer.

Chitra pushed her chest and wanted to cry. It seemed that her husband no longer loved her as before. Will the man change from today? Chitra suffered a lot all day. At this moment, the intensity of the pain went to an unbearable level.
Rupak went to wash his hands in the pond. Chitra came to the pond after him.

Asked why you are not talking? bothering me are angry with me With your two legs read, you bring the bicycle back. I will send news to my father’s house tomorrow. They should send me the bike as soon as they can within two days.

Rupak washed his face with his hands making a splash in the water. Chitra did not reply. He came to get up from the pond ghat and said, bring the towel.

The darkness of the evening is approaching. Chitra ran and brought the towel. Rupak took a towel to wipe his face and said, it is getting hot. I did not get peace after washing my face and hands. Take a dip. Bring the lungita too.

Rupak left the towel on the pond and jumped into the pond. His normal demeanor and soft voice made it seem as if nothing had happened. Chitra looks quite surprised. Even after so much happened, this normal behavior of her husband leaves her in a quandary. Chitra went to the house slowly and brought the lungi and stood at the pond in a daze. Maghrib has been adhan. The intensity of mosquitoes is intense in the dark. Mosquito bites have caused skin irritation. Still Chitra liked the sound of diving into the water with the metaphorical sound. The cloud in the mind is slowly starting to clear. Rupak got up from the ghat and changed his lungi. Leaving the wet lungi on the ghat, Chitra got up from the ghat, quickly went down to the pond and washed the lungi in water to dry. Returning home, he saw Rupak eating rice sitting in the dawa. Josna Begum is sitting next to her. He took the curry with a spoon and moved it towards the boy’s plate and said, I will give you two fish.

Rupak is saying that he will not take it anymore.

I cooked for you, father. You like eating tengra fish very much.

you eat

You take two more fish, father.

Realizing the presence of Chitra, Rupak said without turning his head, you bring a dish. Have two with me.

Chitra’s eyes got wet. A breeze as sweet as the south breeze made him instantly possessed. How did Rupak understand that he did not eat rice all day today? She thinks her husband is the best person in the world. Chitra wants nothing else in exchange for loving this man and serving him for the rest of his life. After washing the dishes in fear Chitra Rupak and Josna Begum sat keeping a little distance from her. Rupak said, take rice. Mom, you give him the fish.

Chitra did not dare to look at Jyotsna Begum’s face. But without any reply or delay, Josna Begum handed over two pieces of fish with broth to Chitra’s feet. Chitra bowed her head and said Amma has not eaten rice all day. I will not eat if he does not eat.
Rupak said, Amma told me that she ate rice. Why don’t you eat rice? Wife bring another dish. Give this dish to Ammar.

Rupak took the plate of rice from in front of Chitra and handed it to her mother. Then he said to Chitra, bring another dish and sit down.

Chitra’s mind became very good. He ran to the kitchen and took another plate and sat next to his mother-in-law. Josna Begum made no more trouble. His pride may be buried in his chest, but he quietly began to eat the rice.

Chitra’s body suddenly became confused. He could not eat rice. He went up from the balcony without saying anything to anyone. Josna Begum immediately complained to her son, “Your wife will not eat my cooking.” i understand How did you get up? Looks like I mixed poison in his rice.

Rupak looked at his wife without replying. In the middle of the yard, his wife is walking. You can’t eat rice anymore, metaphor. He quickly got up and ran to Chitra. Wanted to know what happened to your wife? Why are you doing this?
