A country is waiting for them

I cant write anything these days because so many lives are being shot down laughingly and my eyes are getting blurry when I write about them

I can’t write anything these days because so many lives are being shot down laughingly and my eyes are getting blurry when I write about them. When the war of liberation started in 1971, I was one month old. After victory, I learned to walk in nine months. I was 90 in the anti-dictatorship march in college. Today I am 50 and I don’t have the courage to stand on my street today.

Today’s below text is written by my elder son Fahim with lots of love. His generation believes in honesty and imagines a beautiful country waiting for them

year 2040,
The 37th Olympic Games is underway in Cape Town, South Africa. First time a Bangladeshi athlete has won a medal at the Olympics. Riya (22) has been decorated with a gold medal. Thousands of camera flashes flashed. Riya seems to have reached the roof of the house where she used to play with her father. The evening lights were burning in the neighboring houses. Everyone in the stadium stood up, that beautiful tune, “Amar Sonar Bangla I love you” rang out. What is this! I saw Riya hugging the flag of Bangladesh and crying. Tears of joy in the eyes of all Bangladeshis today.

“Allah, protect my Manik”. A mother raised both hands and opened the window of the house after praying. His son Samir (27) is now serving in a UN peacekeeping mission in a remote country. She is the proud mother of an army officer who gave life security. He may not know, not long ago, 8 children were rescued from terrorists under the leadership of his son.

Journalist Naima (32) was sipping a cup of tea while sitting on the balcony. He has to go to the TV office shortly. Ever since his Pulitzer Prize nomination last month, he’s been dying to do an interview. How long can you say “no”? Of course, Rampura is not far from his house.

As he crossed Tejgaon and passed through Hatirjheel, he looked up at the sky. The sky of Rampura is a little more red today.

The situation in the operation theater is very complicated. A little later, Dr. Tahmid (30) brought out the bullet fragment from the constable’s chest with the magic of his skillful hand. He has earned quite a name as a surgeon at a young age. Many people do not think how can someone be such a good doctor at such a young age? Of course, there were some such people before, such as martyr Dr. Fazle Rabbi. After a while, Dr. Tahmid came out of the operation theater. He said, the operation was successful. The police officer survived the journey. How the bullet got stuck in the chest.

Ifat (32) sat in his car after completing the freelancer training for the whole day. Today, nearly 2 lakh boys and girls are freelancing by training in his training institute. His students bring about 5 billion dollars in remittances to the country every year. How many times everyone in the family said ‘leave the country and come to New York’, but I don’t know why they want to stay in this country. I like this city very much. What a magic here.

Ahad (20) now has many dreams in his eyes, he will be a great engineer. An offer letter came for him from Harvard University this afternoon. Fully Funded Scholarship. Although the parents have not been told the news yet. Aha! Father will not be happy. Ahad’s hands were shaking as he read the email. Maybe father will cry after hearing the news. Ahad had never seen his father cry. Cry! Sometimes crying is also happy.

The way home seems very long today. Today, after a long time, I have to hug my father. I love hearing the sound of my father’s chest.

All around is smoke and smoke. Firefighter Hossain (26) came out with a child in his lap like a superhero. Handing over the child to the paramedic, he did not rest for a moment. According to the captain’s command, he picked up the fire hose. Hossain’s only goal today, however, is to extinguish this fire. Sparks are coming out. It seems like millions of junkies.

CIP Mubarak (29) was watching the news of Bangladesh’s gold medal win on TV. He loves sports since childhood. However, due to family reasons, he did not have the opportunity to play sports for a long time, so he had to start a business. Mubarak started his sports equipment business out of passion for sports. Today his company exports sports equipment to 145 countries around the world. Not only this, his company is the proud sponsor of the Bangladesh Olympic team. His chest filled with happiness. It seems that he has got the reward of so much trouble for Bangladesh. Being born in this country is worthwhile. Mubarak wants to open the window. He looked out and saw a candle flickering above his window. Firefly in English….

If these kids had lived.. if they hadn’t been killed by the monster’s bullet, maybe their story would have been just like this. We want such a Bangladesh, where all children will live with their dreams. Their life will become a dream touching story. Let Bangladesh be of joy, not of monsters.
